Thruway Miracle: Four Monsey Yingerlat Survive Rollover Without Injury

A remarkable miracle took place Friday morning on the New York State Thruway when a car carrying four yingerlat from Monsey overturned on the side of the highway, yet, baruch Hashem, all of them walked away without injuries.

The yingerlat were on their way home from the big Vizhnitz wedding that took place Thursday night in Montreal. Approximately three hours into their trip back to Monsey, the driver lost control of the vehicle due to hazardous weather conditions and heavy rain. The car flipped over several times before coming to a stop along the shoulder of the highway. “It all happened so fast, we barely had time to react,” one of the passengers told Rockland Daily.

Non-Jewish drivers passing by immediately stopped to offer assistance, while the yingerlat managed to climb out of the windows unharmed. A short while later, they continued their journey home with other Jewish drivers who were also returning from the wedding.
