Three Alarm Blaze in Suffern, Multiple Businesses Damaged

A fast-moving blaze is causing damage to a number of business establishments at 83 Lafayette Avenue in Suffern.  

The fire started at around 6:00 this morning, and the cause of the fire remains unclear. 

Fire departments from the surrounding towns—including Suffern, Sloatsburg, Thiells, Spring Valley, and Monsey—have mobilized to the scene, and are battling the fire at this very hour. 

83 Lafayette Avenue is the site of a number of food establishments, and the fire may have begun in one of their kitchens.
