The Hive Announces Purchase of Walmart Airmont Shopping Center, Securing Its Long-Term Home in the Monsey Community

The Hive, Rockland County’s only full-service kosher discount supermarket, has announced the purchase of the Walmart Airmont Shopping Center at 250 Route 59 in Airmont, N.Y., where the supermarket is located. The store has quickly earned a reputation throughout Rockland County for its outstanding specials and competitive everyday low prices.

The acquisition marks a significant milestone for The Hive and reinforces its long-term commitment to the Monsey community. When the opportunity to purchase the property arose, ownership saw it as a natural next step toward securing a permanent home for the store.

As the center’s new landlord, The Hive plans to invest in the property’s other retail spaces and attract a diverse mix of retailers that serve the community’s needs. These efforts are intended to enhance the shopping experience and further establish the center as a vibrant, convenient shopping destination for Monsey and the surrounding area. The investment reflects confidence in The Hive’s continued growth and the community it serves. As it looks to the future,

The Hive remains committed to making quality kosher groceries more affordable through outstanding specials and everyday low prices.
