Suspect Fleeing from Police Hits Multiple Vehicles Causing Injuries

What should’ve been a routine traffic stop by Spring Valley Police, ended with the suspect fleeing the scene, crashing into multiple vehicles, injuring a few people and causing a chaotic scene on Route 59.

Around 7:00 pm Spring Valley Police stopped a vehicle for a routine traffic stop. The suspect attempted to flee police, and crashed into multiple vehicles, seriously injuring at least one person, on Route 59 in front of Ferrari.

Multiple emergency first responders including Hatzalah, Spring Valley and Clarkstown Police, Rockland County Sheriffs and Spring Hill EMS.

Multiple people were injured in the row of vehicles that were hit. The victim who was seriously injured victimwas transported by Hatzalah to Nyack hospital, while the others were lightly injured and transported by Spring Hill EMS.

The suspect was arrested by police.
