Suspect Arrested For West Haverstraw Car Thefts

The Haverstraw Police Department announced they have have arrested a suspect wanted in connection to several car thefts that happened in  August '24. 

The suspect, an 18-year-old male from Forest Hills, Queens, was involved in two separate incidents of larceny in the parking lot of a shopping center in West Haverstraw.

He was located yesterday in Westchester with the assistance of the Westchester Police, and charged with grand larceny 4th degree, a class E felony, and petit larceny, a class A misdemeanor. He was remanded to the custody of the Rockland County Correctional Facility and is awaiting extradition to the State of New Jersey for an active warrant.
