Summer Intern Program Concludes at Ramapo Police Department

The Ramapo Police Department concluded its 2024 Summer Intern Program.

This year, the police department had eight interns who participated in the annual summer program. All eight are matriculated college students who are interested in pursuing law enforcement careers.

The summer program allowed the interns to have exposure to a variety of areas of law enforcement at the local, county, and federal levels. They gained experience and insight from various agencies including the FBI, Rockland County Sheriff’s Office, Rockland County District Attorney’s Office, Rockland County Medical Examiner’s Office, as well as the Ramapo Police Department.
