Suffern Police Nab Suspect in Double Stabbing

On Friday evening, around 7:00 PM, Suffern Police responded to a report of two people stabbed. Officers provided medical aid to the victims and launched an investigation.

Suffern PD, alongside Ramapo Police, Mahwah Police, Rockland County Intelligence Center, FBI NY Westchester Safe Streets Task Force, and Rockland County Sheriff’s Office were able to  quickly detain a suspect. Mahwah’s K9 Rino and Officer S. Hayes located evidence, including the suspected weapon.

Police say the suspect and victims knew each other, and there’s no ongoing threat to the public. The investigation continues, with charges pending.
