A flash flood and thunderstorm warning is currently in effect for most of New York State, including Rockland County and the Lower Hudson Valley.
There's a small risk of severe weather as storms with heavy rain and possible strong winds move into the region.
The flood watch is in effect until 12am tonight, and residents are urged to avoid areas that might get flooded.
