STAR Letters Are in the Mail

STAR letters from the New York State Department of Taxation and Finance went out to Rockland homeowners last week.

Homeowners are advised to follow the instructions in the letter upon receipt and contact the state directly at 518-457-2036 if there are any questions.

The state is now offering a STAR Credit Direct Deposit program. YHomeowners can receive their STAR credits quicker and eliminate the hassle of cashing a check. To enroll, visit www.tax.ny.gov and navigate to the new Homeowner Benefit Portal.
