Spring Valley Teenager Killed in Parking Lot of Apartment Building

Police in Rockland County are investigating an early morning shooting that killed a 17-year-old boy who was going into 12th grade at Ramapo High School.

Police officers found the teenager shot in the parking lot of the Meadow Lane Apartments at 150 West Eckerson Road in Spring Valley approximately 2:30 am.

Police attempted to provide life-saving medical attention, which Spring Valley Emergency Medical Service workers continued to administer as soon as they arrived.

Medics rushed the boy to Good Samaritan Hospital in Suffern, where he later died.

No arrests have been made.
