Spring Valley Police Introduce Four New Patrol Vehicles
By Rockland Daily Staff
Spring Valley Police Department has added four new vehicles to its patrol fleet, including one supervision vehicle and three marked patrol cars. The additions are expected to improve response times, officer safety, and crime prevention efforts in the village.
Lieutenant John Bosworth shared his excitement about the new fleet: "We are proud to introduce a fleet of four new patrol vehicles to our fleet of patrol cars. This was in collaboration with the Village government and the Police Department, who are all committed to keeping the village residents safe. These cars will be used to get to calls safely, help the public, and prevent crime."
Lieutenant Noelizaire added: "I want to say thank you to all Village Board members and the Mayor for helping us get these four new vehicles for our patrol officers. These vehicles will be used to help our officers safely and faster."
Officials from the Village Board of Trustees emphasized the collaboration that made the new vehicles possible. Funding for the fleet was approved in last year’s budget, and after preparation, the cars are now ready for service.
The Spring Valley Police Department says the fleet will be used to enhance day-to-day operations and strengthen community policing throughout the village.
