Spring Valley Police Department Welcomes Two New Officers

The Spring Valley Police Department swore in two new officers today, officially welcoming Matthew Easo and Reymies Marmolejos to the department.

Both officers previously served with the NYPD and bring prior law enforcement experience as they begin their service in Spring Valley.

Deputy Mayor Sruly Eisenbach said the addition of the two officers will strengthen public safety across the village. “These additional officers will help us better serve our community and enhance safety for residents, families, and businesses across Spring Valley,” Eisenbach said.

Police Chief Richard Oleszcuk said the department is proud to welcome the new officers and expressed confidence in their transition to the village force. “The Spring Valley PD is very proud to announce the hiring of two new police officers. Officer Marmolejos and Officer Easo both started their police careers with the NYPD, and I am confident that both will be great additions to the Spring Valley family,” Oleszcuk said.
