ROCKLAND WEATHER

Snowfall Across Tri-State Area

Snowfall Across Tri-State Area

By Idy Perl

On Sunday the tri-state area was covered in a beautiful blanket of snow that fell from Sunday afternoon through midnight, with cities across the tri-state area accumulating between 1-8 inches of snow.

Here’s how much snowfall local areas received:

Monsey: 5.2 inches.

Westchester: 5.5 inches.

Manhattan: 1.6 - 1.8 inches

Brooklyn: 2.7 - 3 inches

Highland Hills: 8.1 inches

The snow caused many  car accidents in Rockland County, as slippery conditions and snow slush had drivers sliding on local roads.

But the worst of the extreme weather isn’t behind us yet; frigid temperatures are expected from Monday night through Wednesday, when wind chills and plunging temperatures will cause a real feel below zero degrees.

Make sure to bundle up warmly!
