Shocking Petirah of Harav Yitzchok Spitzer Z"l, Skver Dayan

The Skver community and all of Klal Yisrael were struck with profound sadness upon receiving the news of the sudden petirah of Harav Yitzchok Spitzer Z"l of New Square. 

He was the son of Reb Moshe Gedalye and eidem by Reb Benzion Lichter. He was 67 years old.

Harav Yitzchok, a famous dayan and Mohel, was widely known for his vast knowledge of halacha and his tireless dedication to Limud Hatorah. His expertise and wisdom impacted the Skver shtetl and beyond, with his answers to every halachic question reflecting a deep understanding in the most complicated Halacha situations.

This morning, while inspecting a mikvah, Harav Yitzchok was tragically found unconscious. Hatzolah was immediately called to the scene and worked diligently to save him, but despite their best efforts, he was sadly pronounced dead.

His untimely passing leaves his family and the entire Jewish community in shock and mourning.

The levayah will take place this afternoon in New Square, with the exact timing to follow.
