New York State Senator Bill Weber spoke in the New York State Senate chamber yesterday, stressing his support of a senate resolution proclaiming January 27 as Holocaust Remembrance Day in the State of New York.
"We all must remember the six million Jewish people and millions of other people murdered by the Nazi regime," the Senator stated while addressing the chamber. "'Never Forget' and 'Never Again' need to be more than slogans and catchphrases!"
The resolution was proposed by New York State Senator Kevin Thomas, Assistant Majority Leader on House Operations and Chairman of the Committee on Consumer Protection.
