Senator Bill Weber PSA Regarding School Transportation Request Deadline

Senator Bill Weber released a Public Service Announcement regarding public and private school transportation.
School transportation is mandated by the State of New York, however, families must adhere to specific guidelines to qualify. The deadline to submit non-public school transportation requests to respective school districts is April 1, 2025.
Please Note:
- Do not assume that if your child received transportation to a private school this year that it will automatically continue next year.
- Some districts require families to reapply annually.
