Senator Bill Weber Denounces Antisemitism at Columbia University
by M.C. Millman
Senator Bill Weber, a member of the Antisemitism Working Group, denounced the vile acts of antisemitism that continue to plague Columbia University and which have spread to thirty-three campuses nationwide.
"The reprehensible acts of Antisemitism targeting Jewish students at Columbia University are deeply troubling and demand immediate action," Senator Bill Weber posted today on X. "As part of the Antisemitism Working Group, my Senate colleagues and I have crafted vital legislative measures to confront this abhorrent hatred head-on. These bills must be swiftly passed to stem the tide of bigotry plaguing our educational institutions."
The bills, as reported by Rockland Daily here, include Senator Weber's bill suggested in March, which would prohibit students from receiving TAP if engaging in antisemitic behavior.
