Rockland Writes: An Urgent Request to the Monsey Community

Dear fellow Monsey residents,

As the administrator of Ateres Bnos, I see firsthand, as do my fellow administrators, how hard families are struggling with the rising cost of living, especially tuition and childcare.

For the past two years, we have worked hard to expand access to childcare vouchers here in Monsey. Tens of thousands of families in New York City already benefit from this program each year.

Baruch Hashem, with siyata dishmaya and the help of R' Bentzion Wieder, we have made some progress. But much more needs to be done before every eligible family in Rockland can benefit.

Our experience in Albany has shown us how important it is to have Democratic representation in both the Assembly and the Senate when working to change policy and secure significant funding for Rockland. The Democrats control both houses, and that is a practical reality we have to work with. This is not a personal criticism of any politician.

With that in mind, I ask you to please go out and vote with your family for Joe Rand for State Senate and R' Bentzion Wieder for State Assembly, so that, b'ezras Hashem, we can continue working to make this program available to every eligible family.

We must also remember the help we have received from Congressman Mike Lawler and show our appreciation by supporting him as well.

Please make sure you and your family vote:

• R' Bentzion Wieder - State Assembly
• Joe Rand - State Senate
• And, in appreciation for his help, Congressman Mike Lawler.

Thank you,

Yosef Dushinsky

Administrator, Ateres Bnos
