Rockland Responds: Chestnut Ridge Trustee Chaim Rose Responds Regarding Downed Trees

My house is located in Chestnut Ridge, right behind the Thruway. I realized some trees were knocked down in a storm, and I’m wondering how I can have them removed. It’s not on my property but right behind it and belongs to the Thruway.

The Village of Chestnut Ridge goes above and beyond for ALL its residents. As such, although the Thruway trees aren’t particularly a Village matter, we will try our utmost to get the proper authorities to resolve your concern nonetheless.
