Rockland Highway Department Holds ‘Stop the Bleed’ Training

Highway workers are on the road most of the time, and can often be the first responders at the scene of an accident on the roads, and in a position to save lives. 

To this end, employees from the Rockland Highway Dept took part in an annual training conducted by the Highway Department’s EMS Office on how to administer CPR and the basics of “Stop the Bleed”, a program that provides skills to stop a life-threatening bleed.
