Rockland Hatzoloh EMS Conducts Large Scale Partial Building Collapse Drill in Monsey
Hatzoloh EMS of Rockland–Monsey/SV District held a hands-on partial building collapse training for its members this Sunday.
The drill simulated a multi-casualty incident (MCI) with patients at different injury levels, allowing crews to practice fast triage, and rapid life saving interventions, and safe removal from a damaged structure using real ambulances. The focus was on speed, communication, and teamwork to mirror real emergency conditions. After the exercise, members gathered at the Monsey Hatzoloh garage for a formal debrief to review lessons learned and strengthen response readiness
The training exercise was sponsored by Solidify Concrete, whose support helped make the realistic drill possible.
