by M.C. Millman
Rockland County is ranked fourth in overall health among the sixty-two counties in New York, according to an annual study released earlier this month.
In the study released by the University of Wisconsin Population Health Institute in its Count Health Rankings and Roadmaps, Rockland County's overall health data outcomes that were tracked health included length of life, quality of life, physical environment, as well as social and economic factors, all of which determined the results.
In New York State, Putnam County ranked No. 1, and the Bronx came in last of New York State's 62 counties.
