Rockland County On Thunderstorm Watch

Rockland County is expecting heavy rainstorms later today as remnants from Tropical Storm Debby that is currently in Georgia. Although the tropical storm isn't expected to hit New York directly, its aftermath will be felt in parts of New York later today and at the end of the week. 

Thunderstorms are expected to hit the Rockland County area tonight and last until tomorrow, and may cause flooding. O&R has mobilized their emergency response team in preparation for the storm, and warns that there might be outages. 

NYS Department of Transportation is reminding drivers that in case of a traffic light that is down or not working the intersection should be treated like a 4-way stop.
