Rockland County Executive Ed Day is listed as number thirteen out of one hundred in the City & State's Upstate Power 100 list of who's who in Upstate New York.

The annual City & State's Upstate Power 100 list features high-ranking elected officials, local politicians, business executives, university presidents, heads of advocacy organizations, labor leaders, and nonprofit heads who are key players outside the downstate region. The list includes Western New York and all regions north of Westchester County.

“It's always nice to be recognized,” Day said in a statement,  “and I thank City & State news organization for naming me to the “Upstate Power 100 list of influential professionals outside of the downstate region of the State.”

Holding first place on the power list is Governor Kathy Hochul.
