Rockland Community Electrified Over Motzoh Tov Wedding Revolution—Looks Forward with Anticipation to Massive and Historic Gathering at RCC

Reverberations of a Revolution

The days of post Pesach have seen a whirlwind of activity in Monsey, as the Rabbonim heads of kehillos work together with the planners of Klal Yisroel’s most important gatherings to organize a revolutionary kinus this coming May 12, Pesach Sheni 5785.

The very streets of Monsey are alive with talk about the incredible Motzoh Tov revolution, as this community leads the way in revolutionizing the wedding standards for Klal Yisroel around the world.

The wedding expenses crisis has plagued Klal Yisroel for so many years now, and the feeling is palpable that in the coming months, a massive change is coming. Weddings will be turned from worrisome events into occasions of complete and pure joy that they are meant to be!

Thousands of Rockland residents are preparing for the massive and historic  gathering which will herald this change—an occasion which Rockland residents will resolve once and for all to do away with the overblown and exaggerated wedding standards which have sadly become the norm—while simultaneously providing wedding provisions at wholesale prices, enabling parents to lead their children to the chupah with complete joy and without descending in debt.

The idea may sound too good to be true, but for the dozens of Monsey residents who have already saved combined millions of dollars through this plan, it is a reality!

Who and What is Motzoh Tov?

The organization which is bringing about this revolutionary change has been founded by a group of local philanthropists who have resolved to do everything in their power to bring about change and ease the plight of their neighbors and friends who must often turn to them for help when making a wedding.

It took two years of toil to bring together the vast majority of kehillos in Rockland and finally be able to announce the resolutions to the greater public in the spring of 2025.

Many Monsey residents are not waiting for the full reveal; the majority of the Viznitzer chassidus—as well as numerous balebatim from Monsey—are already marrying off their children in keeping with the Motzoh Tov wedding plan, and the movement is only growing in numbers.

Why?

There’s an old rule in the business world: Satisfied clients bring more clients. While Motzoh Tov isn’t a business—and no one makes a penny of profit from it—the same principle applies. The parents who have managed to bring back the joy are excited to tell their friends and acquaintances about it. These parents, who find themselves without heavy debt on the day after sheva brochos, bring further families who wish to experience the same feeling.

Goal of the Gathering

The aim of the massive gathering on Monday, May 12, is simple: to bring together a vast number of people who will together declare an end to the status quo. Changing the standards which have sadly become the norm requires the power of many. It requires thousands of Yidden to come together under one roof and proclaim their readiness to bring about this change—for themselves, their future generations, and for the future of all of Klal Yisroel.

In addition to this, the research shows that many previous chasunah plans have failed because they lacked the koach harabim, the power of many. People are afraid of what their friends and neighbors will say… and they’re afraid to take the leap on their own. This dilemma will be solved through this gathering, where everyone will undertake and resolve to change together.

Clarity and Purpose

Every effort has been invested into the details of the gathering so that everyone will enjoy the event, and return home with hope and resolve for the future—having made an ironclad commitment and declaration that: The old-fashioned standard of blowing 100K on a wedding is out-of-style. The new mehalech is to save money, be responsible, and not fall into heavy debt at every wedding.

The activity of the askonim continues apace. Meetings are constantly taking place between event organizers, Motzoh Tov personnel, and heads of each kehillah in greater Monsey, to ensure the success of the event, and to break through this crisis once and for all, together.

The depth of this crisis is something that many—especially the younger men—have never experienced, and thus they’re unfamiliar with how bad things have gotten. The gathering at RCC will feature accounts from askonim and rabbonim who deal with the effects of this crisis every day. At the same time, the public will hear from satisfied fathers who have made the leap to Motzoh Tov.

But the climax of the evening will be a first-time announcement of an incredible breakthrough which will bring enormous relief to a vast majority of those gathered—far beyond anything that has been revealed until now.

Participants will take home a brochure which outlines the Motzoh Tov plan and program—simply taking us back to the way things used to be; realistic standards for those who aren’t millionaires. The brochure will also outline clearly the wedding packages available at the Harmony showroom, a project of Motzoh Tov for those who sign onto the plan, enabling parents to make a wedding for under $50,000.

The historic gathering will take place on Monday, May 12, Pesach Sheni, at the RCC arena which is being prepared to welcome the massive crowds who will blaze this trail together.

Many more details about the event will be forthcoming. Stay tuned.
