Road Closure Due to Project on Route 59

Delays can be expected on Route 59 in the Town of Clarkstown as a planned highway improvement project began today and will continue through Tuesday, April 25. 

According to the State Department of Transportation, the right lane will be closed along Route 59 on the westbound side between Grandview Avenue and I-87 in  Clarkstown.

Drivers should slow down in the areas as directed and keep in mind that fines are doubled for speeding in a work zone.
