Ramapo Stands By Its Religious Communities

Amidst rising tensions across the country and the recent antisemitic incident at the Islamic Center, Ramapo PD and Town of Ramapo Supervisor Michael Specht took to social media to let all local religious communities know that their safety is a top priority.
This year Ramapo PD officers have made over 9,000 visits to houses of worship, which is an increase of around 20% from last year. These visits are key in ensuring the safety of all religious communities, and in growing a relationship between the community and law enforcement.
