Ramapo Police Respond to Multiple Incidents this Weekend

It was a hectic weekend for Ramapo Police, who responded to a wide variety of incidents across town. Among the cases handled were four arrests on outstanding warrants, two open container violations, three motorists cited for suspended licenses or registrations, an aggravated DWI following a crash, a standard DWI arrest, and an arrest for criminal possession of a weapon. 

Other arrests included a violation of an order of protection, a felony assault, and an arrest for obstruction of governmental authority and resisting arrest. Officers also addressed a local law violation for a dog at large.

It was a busy few days, but the department’s hard work didn’t go unnoticed. Residents are thankful for their efforts in keeping the community safe and handling whatever comes their way
