Ramapo Police Arrested Bamboo Theft Suspects

By Idy Perl

Ramapo Police arrested three suspects in connection to the theft of over $3,000 in edible bamboo from a residential yard in Wesley Hills. The suspects stole some bamboo on May 11th and came back to get some more on May 20th.

The suspects, who are all from Brooklyn, were charged with Grand Larceny, Criminal Possession of Stolen Property and Trespass, and were released (of course) pending a court date.

It is unclear what exactly they were stealing the bamboo for.
