Ramapo High School SRO Robert Navarro Promoted to Sergeant

In a momentous announcement made during last night's Ramapo Town Board meeting, Ramapo High School's beloved School Resource Officer (SRO), Robert Navarro, was promoted to the rank of Sergeant.

Sgt. Navarro's journey began in 2005 with the NYPD before joining the Ramapo PD in 2009. Throughout his career, he has donned multiple hats, serving in various capacities such as patrol officer, DARE instructor, Adopt-a-Cop coordinator, SRO, Range Officer, Active Threat Instructor, and Forensic Interviewer. He has been instrumental in spearheading numerous community initiatives.
