As Town Supervisor Michael Specht promised in a recent radio appearance, Ramapo is cracking down on drunk driving.

Just after midnight this past night, a Ramapo Police officer spotted a vehicle driving with the headlights off and committing several traffic violations.

The driver was found to be nearly three times over the legal alcohol limit and was promptly arrested and issued 9 tickets.
