Today, a special meeting was held where multiple leading Rabbanim and Dayanim in Monsey gathered to meet with the Monsey Fire Department new dispatchers, all of whom are Heimish Yiddish-speaking.

The meeting was an opportunity for the Rabbanim to offer guidance, encouragement, and discuss various halachic topics relevant to the dispatchers' roles, and the launch of the Vaad Rabanim for the Fire Dept.

The Rabbanim and Dayanim expressed their support to the new dispatchers, emphasizing the importance of their vital work in the community. They provided valuable insights into the halachic considerations that may arise in emergency situations, ensuring that the dispatchers are well-prepared to handle their responsibilities with cultural sensitivity and adherence to religious principles.
