President Donald J. Trump delivered a strong, direct message to the Monsey Jewish community on Election Day, urging residents to head to the polls and support Congressman Mike Lawler.

In a message posted Tuesday, Trump recalled the strong support he received from Monsey and surrounding neighborhoods during the 2024 presidential election, thanking the community for turning out in large numbers and supporting his campaign.

Turning his attention to the closely watched race for New York’s 17th Congressional District, Trump praised Lawler as a strong supporter of the Jewish community, highlighting his efforts to combat antisemitism and his positions on religious freedom and school choice.

Trump also emphasized Lawler’s commitment to his constituents, describing him as a dedicated public servant who has consistently stood up for the community and its interests.

The president also mentioned State Senator Bill Weber, saying that Lawler, working together with Weber, would continue representing the community and fighting for local families.

Trump concluded his message with a direct appeal to voters, stressing the importance of every vote and urging residents to support Lawler and Weber in Tuesday’s election.

The message comes as voters across Rockland County and the rest of New York’s 17th Congressional District head to the polls in a closely watched congressional race, with Trump making a last-minute push to rally support for Lawler among Monsey voters, which can ultimately be a key seat for republican control in the House of Representatives.
