Vishnitz Monsey Mosdos experienced major system issues overnight after what appears to be a hacker gaining access to its computer network. Staff were unable to log in throughout the night, leaving the system completely down as the morning began.

By early today, the disruption extended to the phone system as well, prompting Mosdos administrators to issue an alert through an alternate line. Parents were instructed that if they need to send a message to a child or reach the office, they must call a temporary number and make sure to speak directly with a human staff member, not any automated or non-human system.

Multiple reports suggest that other organizations may also have been affected, though this has not yet been confirmed.
