Police and Chaverim are investigating a series of egg-throwing incidents that occurred across several locations in the Airmont area late last night, after multiple individuals reported being targeted.

According to preliminary information, incidents were reported near the intersection of Bates Drive and Horton Road, on Wendover Lane in Airmont, and in the vicinity of Yanai’s on Route 59.

Investigators say a suspect driving a black SUV allegedly traveled through the area and threw eggs at pedestrians and others along the route before leaving the scene.

Police and Chaverim responded to the reported locations and immediately launched an investigation. Authorities say additional victims have since come forward, suggesting the incidents may have been more widespread than initially believed.

Police and Chaverim are continuing to gather evidence and follow up on all leads.
