Pine Grove Lake Upper Dam Project Completed After Two Decades of Planning

A ribbon-cutting ceremony marked the completion of the Pine Grove Lake Upper Dam project, attended by Mayor Frasier, Trustee Bitterman, and Village Clerk-Treasurer Kim Peters. The project involved critical repairs to the existing dam, which had been designated a high hazard by the New York State DEC.

The project, more than 20 years in the making, was led by the Pine Grove Lake Association, with President Andre Sanchez and board members Kat Diamond, Sally Savino, Jimmy McCafferty, and John Johnson present to celebrate the milestone.

Funded entirely by the Association, the nearly one-million-dollar project was completed without any special assessments, thanks to careful long-term planning and budgeting.

Officials and community members congratulated all past and present board members for their dedication and success in safeguarding the lake and surrounding community.
