Piermont Fire Department Rescues Duck From Frozen Lake

The Piermont Fire Department's dive team rescued a duck that got stuck in Lake Tappan in Pearl River this afternoon. 

The duck's wing got caught in a fishing line in the middle of the frozen lake, effectively tying down the duck in the ice. A Piermont FD diver braved the ice cold water to swim towards the duck, and successfully freed the animal.
