Person Rescued From Under Fuel Truck

The Hillcrest and Thiells Fire Departments completed a daring rescue today on Buckingham Court in Mt Ivy, near Thiells. 

The driver of an oil delivery truck got trapped under the truck after it rolled down a hill while being parked. Firefighters had to lift and pull the truck off the victim in order to get him out.

The driver was found conscious but injured, and was transported to the hospital by Haverstraw EMS and Rockland paramedics.
