Orange & Rockland Utilities Will recycle your old fridge and pay you for it

Orange and Rockland Utilities is now offering a recycling service for anyone wanting to get rid of an old refrigerator or freezer.

“We'll help you recycle your old unit in a safe and environmentally friendly way, and pay you $25 for each unit we pick up,” O&R wrote on their website.

You must be an O&R electric customer in New York State to receive this service.

“We'll even recycle your room A/C along with the scheduled pick-up of your refrigerator or freezer. There is no rebate for recycling a room A/C,” they finished off.
