NYDOT Joins the NYS Fair

The New York State Fair is currently taking place until September 2nd in Syracuse, NY. The fair features plenty of rides and fun activities, as well as booths from various city departments. 

The NYS Department of Transportation has a large booth at the fair, as well as a Highway Workers Memorial right at the entrance of the fair to commemorate and honor the transportation workers who lost their lives on the job. 

At their booth, local residents can meet DOT volunteers and learn all about the department. There is also an interactive exhibit for visitors to enjoy and learn more about the work that the DOT does.
