Nyack Community Invited to Join Tree Planting Initiative on November 8

Residents of Nyack and surrounding areas are invited to participate in a community tree planting event on Saturday, November 8, from 9:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. The event, organized by local volunteers, aims to enhance the town’s green spaces and promote environmental sustainability.

Volunteers are encouraged to bring shovels, gloves, and energy, while organizers will provide trees and guidance to ensure a productive and enjoyable experience. The planting sites will be spread across various locations in Nyack, giving participants multiple opportunities to contribute to the town’s greenery.

Additionally, community members can get involved by joining the Tree Planting Committee, helping to organize and expand future environmental initiatives.
