New Wedding Hall Ateres Genendel Opens Tonight in Monsey

Ateres Genendel, a new wedding hall in the Satmar building on South Madison Avenue, is officially opening tonight with its first simcha. The hall, located in a space that was originally an auditorium, has been in the works since last year, when plans were announced to create an affordable wedding option that could also provide income for the mosdos and help families celebrate simchos with ease.

The hall is fully ready for weddings, with every detail in place and a full industrial kitchen installed. Designers and architects worked carefully to give the space a polished, upscale look, while keeping it accessible as a takanah hall.

“We put in extra effort to make every detail as beautiful as possible, while still keeping things affordable, so a wedding doesn’t become a heavy burden on the shoulders of the baalei simcha,” one of the hall representatives told Rockland Daily.

Monsey families are excited to welcome a hall that makes celebrating weddings and other simchos both beautiful and affordable.
