Nanuet Library Announces a Winter Sowing and Seed Swap Workshop

The Nanuet Library, in conjunction with the Rockland County Garden Swap and Chat Group, is holding a winter sowing workshop and seed swap event on Sunday, December 11. 

The workshop will take place in the library's community meeting room from 1:00 pm to 2:30 pm. 

Participants will learn how to choose and prepare containers for winter sowing and will take home a personal winter sowing kit, including a container, soil, and seeds. Participants are encouraged to bring their empty, white plastic, gallon milk jugs and saved seeds to join in a seed swap after the workshop.
