Miracle at Sea: Aruba Coast Guard Rescues Frum Yidden After Almost 4 Hours in Ocean

On Tuesday night, the Chabad Rabbi of Aruba Ahron Blasberg received an urgent call. Two tourists from New Square and Monsey had gone missing in the ocean after their jet skis capsized, and Chaveirim was notified on this case. The coast guard was already in action, searching the waters after it was reported they hadn’t returned the rented jet skis.

As nightfall settled, hopes of finding them safely began to fade. But thanks to Hashem and the remarkable skill of the Aruba Coast Guard, the men were located and rescued after 3.5 long hours in the rough ocean. A helicopter hovered above with a powerful searchlight, while a boat scoured the waters below. They were found freezing cold but unharmed, their only injury being the shock of the ordeal.

Baruch Hashem, their story had a good ending. After the dramatic rescue, the two were flown back to New York, grateful and safe.

Congressman Mike Lawler in statement has expressed his gratitude to the Coast Guard for rescuing two Rockland County residents off the coast of Aruba near Eagle Beach. He commended the brave members of the Coast Guard for their heroic efforts in saving the lives of these individuals.
