Mass Casualty Incident Declared After Serious Crash on Palisades Parkway; Multiple Critical Patients Transported

A Mass Casualty Incident (MCI) was declared following a serious motor vehicle accident on the Palisades Interstate Parkway near Exit 11, prompting a large-scale emergency response.

Hatzoloh, along with numerous EMS agencies, firefighters, and law enforcement personnel, rushed to the scene after reports of multiple victims, including several who were initially unresponsive.

According to initial reports, Hatzoloh transported multiple patients in critical condition to Westchester Hospital as emergency crews worked to treat and evacuate the injured. One of the vehicles involved belonged to a special needs school and was transporting students at the time of the crash.

The Palisades Interstate Parkway was shut down in the area to allow emergency responders to safely conduct rescue operations and clear the scene.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation. More information will be provided as it becomes available.
