Local Closures In Observance Of Memorial Day

Today, the last Monday of May, the U.S. observes Memorial Day to honor and mourn members of the U.S. military who died while serving their country. The federal holiday brings closures and schedule changes to many businesses and city-run services.

Today, May 26, the local TOR buses will operate a Saturday schedule on TOR #59, 91, 92, 93, 94 and Loop #3, and will run on regular schedules on Loop #1 and #2. TOR #95 and #97 will not operate. The Metro-North Hudson line and other East-of-Hudson trains will operate on a Sunday schedule. 

Federal and local government offices, including the DMV, post offices, and courts, in addition to local banks, will all be closed today as well.
