Legislator Friedman Delivers Rockland County Legislator's Invocation

Rockland County Legislator Joel Friedman delivered the invocation before the start of the Rockland County Legislator meeting that took place last night.
"Almighty God," the legislator began, "As we gather here tonight, the week that marks the beginning of the new Jewish year, Rosh Hashanah, a time of reflection, repentance, and renewal for many, we seek your guidance and wisdom as we deliberate on matters that impact the citizens of Rockland County.
"We ask you to grant us the insight to make decisions that promote justice, equality, and the well-being of all our constituents.
"We ask you to help us to mend bridges, heal divisions, and foster understanding among us. May we be inspired by the values of compassion, inclusivity, and respect that this season represents.
"We offer our gratitude for the privilege to serve our community and ask for your blessing during this legislative session.
"May our efforts be guided by your divine light, and may our decisions reflect the highest ideals of service and integrity."
