Large Police Presence Expected at Suffern High School as Ramapo Police Conduct Training

The Ramapo Police Department will be conducting police training drills at Suffern High School on several evenings over the coming weeks.

The drills are scheduled for tonight, October 28, as well as November 2, 9 and 16, from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m.

Although most of the training will take place indoors, residents may notice a large police presence in the school’s parking lot and around the building during those hours.

Residents are advised that the activity is part of scheduled training, and there is no cause for concern.
