Kohanim Warning in Viznitz Beis Hachaim

By Rockland Daily Staff
Following the Kevurah of the Kossov Rebbe in Monsey, as seen here, the ownership of the Viznitz Beis Hachaim is warning visitors about a change at the Tzion for Kohanim.
Until now, there was a gate dividing the building at the Rivnitz Tzion from the Beis Hachaim, making it halachically separate so Kohanim were able to daven right near the Tzion.
The gate was always on the chelka of the Kosov Rebbe right near his father Z"l, with full permission, but before the Kevurah, the gate was removed to allow the Kevurah to take place. As a result, the room is no longer appropriate for Kohanim to enter.
The Vaad of the Chevra Kadisha and Beis Hachaim are currently meeting with Rabanim to discuss possibilities for Kohanim to once again be able to come closer to the Rivnitz Tzion.
