Indian Siren Pole in New Square Finally Removed

The iconic Indian siren pole on Jefferson Ave in New Square, known for its frequent pre-warning tests, has been removed today.

This pole has been very familiar to residents and visitors for decades, as they were constantly notified of ongoing tests.

Its removal is part of a larger project in Rockland County as reported by Rockland Daily last week.
